Bradford Music & Arts Service is a highly successful service and the lead organisation for the West Yorkshire Music Hub. It provides wide ranging music opportunities for children and young people who live or go to school in the Bradford MDC area.
The service works in close partnership with schools and the local community and a number of delivery organisations, regional and national partners to ensure that a broad range of high-quality music provision is available, accessible and affordable to all children and young people.

We are excited to be able to expand our team of Operations Administrators
Working alongside a thriving team of instrumental/vocal music teachers our Operations Administrators and Administration Team support and underpin this successful peripatetic service ensuring that the young people and schools across the district receive a quality service.
Main Responsibilities of Post:
Supporting a variety of finance and business administration tasks, including invoicing, parental debt, data analysis, and general admin duties. To support the Music & Arts Service by ensuring effective, efficient, and timely delivery of services.
Managing the website, social media presence, training staff on operating systems, delivering financial reports, data returns, client invoicing, and communications.
Assisting the Head of Service, Business Manager and wider management team, teaching Staff and maintaining excellent customer relations. Additionally, to ensure respectful and efficient customer interactions for schools and parents, from lesson sign-ups to debt management.
We would particularly welcome candidates who have a strong excel/data base knowledge together with a real interest and flair for social media as we have a strong desire to raise our profile in this area.
Running events is a key area and the successful candidate, alongside the wider admin team, will be instrumental in assisting the management team with every aspect from planning, organising through to seeing the event come to fruition on the day/evening/weekend. A real roll up your sleeves side to the job and a perfect opportunity to see the real time impact your work has on children.
Never a dull day working for this unique service – you will be part of a vibrant team and will work closely with schools, parents, pupils and outside agencies.
The role will be split partially in the office and working from home as we have a rolling hybrid working system in place. There will be times when you will be expected to attend events which can be on occasions be on evening or weekends with advance notice. You can also be called into the office for extra times if there is a service need and to cover other staff’s office time if they are on holiday etc.
