Leisure Attendant Receptionist

Job Introduction

From Monday the 21st of April to Sunday the 5th of October 2025 based at Ilkley Pool and Lido, Denton Road, Ilkley, LS29

 

The Council’s Leisure Service is the largest leisure provider in the district with over 2 million customers each year visiting our sports centres, swimming pools and halls.  Our ‘b active’ campaign continues to encourage Bradford’s residents to be more physically active and we are now seeking additional committed and highly motivated people to help us continue with this work.

 

Ilkley Pool & Lido are now looking to recruit new staff who are lively, enthusiastic and committed to joining our team! If you feel you have what it takes, enjoy meeting and working with the public, and can provide a high standard of customer service we would like to hear from you.


Duties include: Responsible to the Duty Person for the day to day operations which include cleaning inside and outside of the facility, general control and patrol of the facilities, which includes pool areas, changing rooms, lido grounds and the cafe.  Also, the successful applicant will be required to set up, dismantle, move and store equipment. Overview of customer safety, discipline and well-being.   Provision of effective customer service, preventing of injury to customers and misuse / damage of the facility, supervised on a daily basis by the Duty Person, but will also report to the Operations Manager.  

 

You MUST have: Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.


An enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post 

 

As this post is suitable for a secondment, interested applicants need to have secured the secondment agreement with their manager prior to the application.
